My Story
Hi, I’m Becca Haney! I live in Central Arkansas with my husband of 15 years and our three incredible kids. As a former kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home mom,
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to read my fair share of picture books over the years. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve collected a home library of over 750 children’s stories!
My love for children’s literature started in college, while earning my Early Childhood Education degree. Our reading professor began each class with a memorable read-aloud, and I was hooked by her silly voices, the books’ meaningful messages, and the joy of being drawn into the pages of a story. I’m convinced picture books have the ability to captivate an audience of just about any age. In fact, I still regularly read to my own children, even the teenagers. Berenstain Bears books are a favorite request around here.
Somewhere in the midst of reading, collecting, and cherishing picture books, I began dreaming of writing my own. At the beginning of 2025, I finally faced my fears and took the leap into self-publishing. After seeing firsthand the impact a meaningful picture book can have on children and families, I'm now passionate about creating heartfelt stories that celebrate the value of togetherness and lasting memories created by chasing life’s simplest moments.
